Project Scope

JEI provided structural engineering for the exterior glass and glazing systems at the Loews Kansas City Hotel, working with Flynn as the glazing contractor.

Our scope included engineering support for the building’s exterior glazing, including:

• Curtain wall and exterior glazing systems

• Glass entry systems

• Guest room glazing

• Glass railings

• Exterior glass components and associated connections

• Structural engineering calculations for glazing assemblies

From prominent public-facing entrances to guest room glazing and railing systems, JEI’s engineering touched the glass throughout this major downtown Kansas City hospitality project.
