Stewart Jeske, P.E. created JEI Structural Facade Engineering & Drafting during a time of soul searching. He knew he needed a niche area of structural engineering and 2003 offered that opportunity. Glazing system codes began changing quickly, requiring more P.E stamps and more complicated designs requiring specialized engineering experience; not taught in any major U.S. university.
This high performing team of glass & glazing façade engineering experts emerged.

Curtain wall engineering services have been performed for many projects ranging from small single story to multi-story curtainwalls. Consulting services have included pre-construction engineering design reviews for commercial contractors, structural inspections, and also analysis of existing structures and speaking / training events.

JEI Structural Facade Engineering & Drafting team are experts at providing high quality structural engineering services to the commercial glazing industry. Services include calculations for curtain wall engineering, storefront engineer, all glass systems engineering, submerged glass and zoo enclosure engineer design and also window blast engineering for DOD and GSA projects using WINGARD.
Design calculations encompass stress analysis, deflection analysis, system connections and anchor design to the structure. JEI also provides value engineering, training and development of MR’s and PM’s.

JEI Structural Facade Engineering & Drafting has our own in-house team of industry experts drafters and detailers. We can work directly with you or keep drafting all in one place by having us project manage the process with our strategic alliances. JEI has long standing Drafting Relationships with MP Drafting, Architectural Communication & Design and RT Drafting Services. Each filled with high quality people of excellence with whom we share a common bond.
